Description
The Eezi-Awn Dragonfly Mini 180 Awning is a compact freestanding 180° bag awning that delivers 62.35 ft² of wrap-around side and rear coverage — the same panel geometry as the full Dragonfly 180, scaled down for smaller vehicles, tighter rack clearances, or weight-conscious builds. The self-contained aluminum framework deploys in under a minute with a simple twist-lock mechanism. Built from 260 gram waterproof UV ripstop canvas with a 700 gram UV-resistant PVC cover, and made at Eezi-Awn's Johannesburg facility. Available in Grey or Beige for left or right side mounting.

Note: Freestanding in no wind conditions. Staking down at the base of legs in an X pattern is strongly recommended at all times.

- 180° Wrap-Around in a Shorter Package: At 78" closed, the Mini fits vehicles and racks where the full Dragonfly 180's 97" closed length would overhang or not mount cleanly — delivering the same 180° geometry in a more accessible form factor.
- 62 ft² of Freestanding Coverage: Two triangular panels and one rectangle panel create defined side and rear coverage — significantly more than a standard 2M side awning from a single mount point.
- Freestanding with Adjustable Legs: Integrated legs extend to 92" (2330mm) and are stake-compatible for stability in wind.
- 260 Gram Waterproof UV Ripstop Canvas: Same canopy spec as the full Dragonfly 180, Bat 270, and Manta 270 — waterproof, UV-resistant, and built for extended expedition use.
- 700 Gram PVC Cover: Heavyweight tonneau-grade bag protects the rolled canopy during travel — same cover spec as the full Dragonfly line.

- Mid-size vehicles — 4Runners, Tacomas, Broncos, and similar platforms — where the full Dragonfly 180's 97" closed length is too long for the available mounting surface.
- Overlanders who want 180° wrap-around coverage without the weight of the full Dragonfly 180 (45 lbs vs 55 lbs).
- Two-person trips where 62 ft² of covered space covers a camp cooking area and seating without the full Dragonfly's larger footprint.
- Builds where a 270° awning's rear wrap interferes with rooftop tent access or rear door clearance.
